The service

This managed service employs digital fiber-optic cabling to provide end-to-end private circuits between two international destinations, with a single point of contact to facilitate the ordering, provisioning and management of the service.

The service meets the needs of multinational companies for reliable international private circuits, that can be easily ordered and managed. Global MPL is ideally designed for companies that are currently serviced by Batelco on a half-circuit basis, and that wish to migrate to a managed point-to-point connectivity solution.

	Availability: The availability levels offered by Global MPL reduces the need for additional network redundancy and back-up options.

	Bandwidth: Circuits are available at bandwidths between 64kbit/s and 1984kbit/s.
	Network topology: Global MPL is delivered on Cable & Wireless’ managed data network, an overlay of fibre-optic cables connecting the world’s major trading centers.
	Specifications: Global MPL circuits support various commonly used interface options.
