Call Waiting*

If you’re on the line and someone’s trying to get through, this handy service alerts you to the fact by a special tone.This way, you needn’t worry about missing important calls.

How to use Call Waiting:

• If you (A) are engaged in a telephonic conversation (B) and a second party (C) calls, a special tone will indicate the other caller is on the line.
• To put the first caller (B) on hold, and connect the second caller (C), Flash Hook then 2.
• To put the second caller (C) on hold and reconnect to the first (B), Flash Hook then 2. Steps 1 and 2 can be repeated.
• To disconnect the current party and reconnect the party on hold, Flash Hook then 1.

Call waiting is also available as part of the caller ID service, allowing you to see the number of the party that is trying to contact you while you are on the phone.
